About Kukka

The story of KUKKA began in 2003 when Saara Renvall, a Finnish designer was invited to a romantic winter skating event called “rusettiluistelu”. She wanted to wear something special to help her be seen among fellow skaters.

KUKKA is Finnish and means “flower”. Each KUKKA is hand-made with love and care by a small family business based in Helsinki. KUKKA’s leaves are made from reflective film and its heart and fastening clasp are stainless steel.

As KUKKA is hand-made, only a limited number comes available each year and sells out quickly. We try to keep the list of “where to buy” as updated as possible but if you want to be 100% sure, please check availability in beforehand directly from the store.
